Recent Services and Long Term Upgrading Project

Labor of LOVE!! This is a must see Classic!!

From the moment she was purchased in 1998 Princess Jodie has been receiving a facelift.

An early project was hardwood floor throughout which set the tone for this classic beauty!

Hatteras standard whisper panel ceiling is installed throughout.

Salon entertainment cabinet added to match the existing wood paneling

Cockpit wet bar added matching wood work teak hand railing

Aft cockpit enclosure removed opening up your view and in the process larger stainless steel poles replaced the 1' tubing original to Hatteras

1/2" starboard material used as a replacement for hand railing skirt for a much more sturdy application

December 2022:

  • Bilge Pumps replaced
  • Bottom Painted

2018 New exterior paint from rub railing up to Flybridge

14 Kw Onan Diesel Generator replaced 2005 with 1635 hours

Boarding Princess Jodie is made easy with a portable folding ladder that can be attached to either Port or Starboard entry, in addition to the boarding ladder affixed to the aft accessible from the swim platform.

Once aboard there are two shore power and dockside inlets located on port and starboard side decks. Walking forward to the bow there are two deck boxes, fender holders with fenders. The bow pulpit has an electric 32v windlass with a Bruce style anchor. The bow seating has newly re-upholstered custom cushions, and a new windshield screen cover.

Walking aft you have the fuel fill plate located on the port toe rail and fresh water fill port aft deck. The wing doors on the port and starboard side bring you to the spacious aft deck with custom teak table and chairs. The open air aft deck is a great space for entertaining guests with a protective roof. Forward is the custom built wet bar. Located behind the seating area is the access to the swim ladder.

Access the flybridge from the aft deck by going up the 6 step ladder. The flybridge has bench seating forward and a cushioned swivel captains seat and bench seating. The helm station has a bracket for an I Pad for navigation, GPS/Chart Plotter, Ray-Line searchlight controller, compass, Bennett trim tab knob, VHF radio, and new stereo speakers. Below the helm station are two cabinets for accessibility of electronics and storage. Forward is another bench seat with cover. There is additional storage beneath the seats and ample storage in the brow. Mounted aft port on the bridge is a crane and tender bridle for up to a 13' tender.

Entering through the double doors from the aft deck or through the midship sliding doors on the port or starboard side will bring you into the main salon and helm station. The aft starboard side has the large screen TV/entertainment system. Port side has a beautiful microfibre couch. The 360 degrees of open windows with custom blinds and valances allows for excellent natural light and visibility. The electronics at the lower helm station has a GPS/ chart plotter, depth sounder, Bennett trim tab knob, autopilot and VHF radio VHF. The Ships Service A/C panel is located portside and the other A/C panel is located starboard of the main entrance.

Down several steps on the starboard side you enter the galley with the dinette area with slider cabinet space and drawers below the seating. The galley has recently undergone a major refit with newer Full size refrigerator and microwave. Beneath the access door in center floor of galley is access for the generator room and the generator is enclosed in a sound shield.

There is generous storage throughout the galley. The stove and oven have been refit and are propane powered suitable for the finest gourmet chef. Directly port is the pull out slider that houses the trash and recycling bins. A built-in spice rack and an updated refrigerator complete this refit. There are plenty of overhead cabinets for kitchen essentials.

Forward of the galley and down two steps into the bow stateroom is the two bunks starboard side, each with a reading lamp. Two porthole windows and a large overhead hatch. Two drawers on port side with a mounted light fixture and a/c control panel. Located aft is the head with a Raritan electric flush toilet, countertop with sink, medicine cabinet and cabinet space below and a shower stall. Directly across to starboard is a stack washer and dryer behind the custom cabinet door and a full height closet and overhead cabinet.

Moving aft of the galley are the two engine rooms. Port side includes the Detroit Diesel engine, four  a/c units and an air compressor. Starboard engine room has the Detroit Diesel engine, fire suppression system, fresh water jet pump and a 32v fresh water pump. The aft wall has the battery charger, and 20 USG. water heater.

Moving port aft of the engine room is the guest stateroom with two twin berths across from each other with porthole windows on the port side. A mirrored wall behind the headboards that have mounted reading lamps. A nightstand with several drawers and two additional drawers under the outboard berth. At the foot of the bed there's a full height closet and a/c control panel.

The guest head has a flush toilet, countertop with sink, ample storage and a shower stall, that serves both guest and master staterooms. I would describe the bath as a Jack and Jill with shower that completely closes off for privacy.

Further aft is the master stateroom has a queen bed with a nightstand, lamps and  abundant dresser drawer space, built-in book shelf on starboard side. Forward is the a/c control panel and the full height closet.

The new wood flooring throughout the vessel are in great condition.

Her interior upgrades make her show like a much newer vessel.
