Originally imported from Australia in 2017, the current owners took time and care to ensure that it had all the requirements that any discerning kiwi buyer would want.  Having had considerable amounts spent on improvements and upgrades, it’s clear to see that this is a well looked after and wonderfully spec’d boat.

Sunseeker is one of the big names in the industry, their boats are renowned for their luxurious interiors and exceptional sea keeping, this 2003 Manhattan 56 being no exception.  Starting aft, the hydraulic swim platform is an easy way of storing, launching and retrieving the Southern Pacific 350 tender, powered by a 30hp Mercury 2 stroke outboard.  Also fitted with a bait station and BBQ on a stainless staple, the duckboard is multifunctional.

Overall the Manhattan 56 is actually 61’2″, and you can see that as you step through to the teak laid cockpit.  Full cockpit covers should you require protection from the elements, and the bench seating provides ample lounging space.  The central deck hatch takes you down into the engine room.   The boat is powered by 2 x CAT C15 engines producing 800HP and 2500 litres of fuel, plenty of power to keep you moving around the Hauraki Gulf and beyond.

Stepping in through the sliding doors, you are greeted with warm inviting woodwork, and fresh looking upholstery and ceiling panels.  Having undergone an interior refit on import, the boat boasts a typical Sunseeker  interior, when boats were built in an era when they were truly luxury items.  A 46″ Panasonic LED TV in the lounge picks up satallite TV which is also connected to the inbuilt 4 zone Yamaha sound system.  Wifi on board means you’ll be able to stream the game when at anchor, all the mod-cons of home whilst out on the water.

The galley is situated midships with good connection to the saloon.  Fully equipped with Bosch everything; hob, range hood, microwave oven, dishwasher. icemaker, washer/dryer.  Full size fridge and freezer and plenty of dry food storage found in drawers and cupboards.  There is also a midship guest cabin with an oversize single bed inc ensuite / day head.

Forwards past the helm is the main accommodation; an oversize double cabin to port with en suite access to another shared day head with separate toilet and shower.  Twin cabin to starboard with hanging lockers for your guests.  Master cabin is in the bow with an island double berth, with private ensuite head including a toilet and separate shower.  All cabins feature Panasonic TVs with Apple TV.

Back on deck, your choice of internal or external access to the gigantic flybridge.  Fully enclosed with a custom built stainless frame, covers and clears for NZ conditions, there is custom rod storage, and huge seating areas convertible into sunbathing areas.  Flybridge fridge keeps everything cold and within arms reach.  Both helms on the boat feature all new Raymarine package inc; 12″ Axiom screens, autopilot (simrad), VHF, radar, vetus bow & stern thrurster controls, chain counter… This boat has it all.
