The 46th Annual Cape Fear Blue Marlin Tournament will be held in Wrightsville Beach Marina May 29th – June 1st. Riggs Yacht Sales is excited to be both sponsoring the tournament and hosting the festivities in our open-air deck at the office, located at 2 1/2 Marina Street, Wrightsville Beach! The tournament will kick-off with Registration and a Captain’s Party (Open Bar, Food, Live Music) on Wednesday, May 29th. Fishing days, weigh-ins, and an award ceremony follow. Riggs Yacht Sales was also pleased to host the Captain’s Party for the Rob Tennille tournament this year. This tournament serves as a memorial in honor of local Wrightsville Beach angler, Rob Tennille, who passed away in 2014. The tournament, formerly called The Bearded Clam Classic, is now held each year in Rob’s honor. Friends and family gather on the last weekend of each April to celebrate the start of the offshore season, and to remember Rob.
