Tom Gaeta – Sales Professional
Tom has always been around the water. Born and raised in New Bern, NC he learned to drive boats by the time he was 10. After graduating from the College of Charleston, he enrolled in the Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart FL, received his captain’s license, and began his career in the professional maritime field. Tom has captained both private and commercial boats and yachts of all sizes, including operating as the head captain for Towboat US Grand Strand for nearly a decade. He has successfully captained dozens of yacht deliveries up and down the east coast, gulf coast, and the Bahamas. He was most recently employed by the Charleston Harbor Pilots as a Pilot Boat captain and helped to facilitate the smooth operation of one of the busiest ports on the East coast. He is an avid surfer, duck hunter, and fisherman. Tom is excited to be back in the Old North State with his wife Ali and two young children. He enjoys sharing his love and appreciation for the water and boating lifestyle. His years of on the water experience enable him to match his clients with the ideal boat.
